A goal-directed approach which uses slow, sustained and gentle pressure to address and relieve specific physical issues, and release the trauma and emotions locked in the body.

Myofascial Release addresses the layer of connective tissue called fascia that runs through our muscles and our whole body. Fascia is easily prone to chronic holding and tension that results from emotional or physical stress, injury and the habitual way you use your body. Restrictions in the fascia can result in chronic pain, fatigue, and lack of flexibility.

Often used as part of  'medical massage', it can decrease pain and spasms, restore and maintain range of motion and flexibility, reduce inflammation and decrease recovery time from injury and surgery.

Interestingly, as these physical restrictions are freed, emotional blockages are often released as well.
